Yesterday in the UK, the police were following a suspicious car when the driver ditched the car and took off running. Two teenagers who were nearby saw the police and offered up their bicycles for the chase. The police officers used the kid's bikes and eventually caught the suspect.
The best part of the story comes from what the suspect told police after being apprehended. Apparently, the suspect was a fan of Scooby Doo because he immediately told police, "I'd have got away but for all those kids."
How nice of the kids to offer up their bikes to the police.
