I recently used bikely.com to map a route near Madison. I was planning on about a 50 mile ride with a few friends and wanted to head to New Glarus. Since we were in a hurry, I just pulled up bikely.com which I know has tons or pre-mapped routes with cue sheets.
Sure enough, I found a great route to New Glarus that included trails, hills, a tunnel, and everything in between. It's one of my favorite new routes. The bicycle route included roads in and around Verona, New Glarus, Madison, and Mount Vernon.
We had a great ride including some sprints to the stop ahead signs on the gravel trail and sprints to the tops of two hills just of the Badger State Trail near New Glarus Woods State Park.
