Some of you may know that Capitol Off-Road Pathfinders is building the first official mountain bike trail right here in Madison, at the confluence of the Cannonball, Cap City and Badger State bike paths. Seminole Trails will be a beginner/intermediate mtn bike path, and ideal for 'cross bikes.
Ride this trail to improve your bike handling skills!
For those not riding Lake Geneva Cross, please consider helping out at CORP's first official trail workday: Sunday, September 14.
Details:
Meet at the Seminole Highway parking lot at 11am for coffee and doughnuts (just south of where Seminole crosses the Cap City Trail).
Bring long pants, boots and gloves, water bottle. No prior experience needed. Stay and help for as long as you like.
The 3-mile-plus trail corridor is already cleared enough to walk and we will be removing tape, cleaning the tread of debris, and removing garbage from years of neglect.
