Madison's Winterfest is fastly approaching. It's the perfect opportunity to get outside and have some fun. Activities range from cross country skiing, jogging, tube rides, snow shoe relays, and a cyclo frost race around the square where cyclists wear costumes and have to ride in snow on part of the course!
There is also a cross country ski race similar to a crit where the races will keep taking laps. There is international pro cross country ski racing and also WI state high school championships.
Last year over 35,000 people showed up to particpate or watch the athletes.
