TOUR DE ROAD AMERICA

This ride takes place at Road America race track in Elkhart Lake Wisconsin on August 14, 2009. I have not ridden this course myself but have heard many good things from friends who have. From what I hear, the turns and smooth track make for a very exciting ride.

According to the website:

"The tour de Road America is a family-friendy bicycle ride. After auto racing is done for the day, drivers from elite racing series will join team members, series personnel, families, friends, fans, local cyclists, and cancer survivors for a fun ride on the track. Our goal to annually raise at least $40,000 to help people survive cancer. Each lap of Road America is 4.0 miles, and you can ride one lap or until track officials declare it's "too dark to ride." Top cyclists can probably get in up to 40 miles."
